Panorama Photographer Mailing List
The Panotools mailing list is for those who are interested in creating Panoramas and the use of various Panorama software and hardware.
Unfortunately the original mailing list has been high-jacked by a rogue member without the support of the majority of the group, so the mailing list has made a new start somewhere else:

The version I'm dealing with is I think the latest: Panosalado2, which is no longer based on Pavervision3d and is therefore (though I have no experience of Re: Budapest 70 Gigapixel
I wasn't that crazy about the 70 version.. and it wasn't actually about the trees for me.. Agreeably they didn't do much for the image however. I just feel Re: OT - help! can't connect to camera via USB
Try resetting the camera settings, and check if the camera communication protocol is in "Normal" mode and not in PTP mode. You could also try pluging the Re: OT - help! can't connect to camera via USB
... could be the litle connection inside the pc has become partly disconnected Re: Budapest 70 Gigapixel
I personally had no issues with the budapest 70 gigapixel - i wrote my objections which were directed at the Rio 67 gigapixel but can be applied to many Re: OT - help! can't connect to camera via USB
I tried different cables and I also tried a different *camera* and the result was the same. so i can rule that out. tonight i'll try a different PC and then I GUI for coding panoramas for phones
Is there a GUI for coding panoramas for idevics? I don't know code, so I use FFC for my coding. Anything like that available yet? sh Re: Seams are always a problem. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
... Jim, Good advice, though I myself shoot RAW and *always* rotate them to bring them into the upright position (-90). I make sure that all the images are Re: Seams are always a problem. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Why is the technology always to undress women and not men-not that I am interested in looking... Yes, this is a rhetorical question. sh Re: Panosalado help
... I applaud your efforts! Here is a brief synopsis of my own efforts: 1) Download the old-but-working binaries from who-knows-where many months back. Manage Re: Seams are always a problem. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
... Also make sure that none of the images imported into PTGui have been rotated. If some of your images have been rotated and your camera has heavy shift Re: PTools plugins and migration to Windows 7
Thanks. I'll look into this for the next release. Jim ... -- Jim Watters http://photocreations.ca Re: PTools plugins and migration to Windows 7
Found a workaround, when using remap, source image must be a layer not a background. Regards, Marko On Fri, Jul 30, 2010 at 11:35 AM, Marko Potocnik ... Re: Seams are always a problem. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
... Why are these "false" control points? I'll grant you they're probably redundant, but false seems a little strong. Unless you know something I don't, which
