Patrick, Is it deliberate that the full-screen display no longer responds to the zoom and pan options (and auto-rotate) but only inherts what had been selected

I think most people consider it two separate tasks, at least for now. Converting RAW to tiff or jpg is best handled by applications that do nothing else, i.e.
