Help!!

I love this site, great info. but I need help with my VR tours. I am wanting to offer VR tours of my cabins and homes. I would like to offer the floor to ceiling tours but do not know what equipment and software is needed as well as how to host them. I have a Nikon D80 (love it!) What lens do I need? What tripod and rotator as well as what software can be used? Thanks for any help!!

Hi,

With your Nikon D80, you can use a Nikkor 10.5mm fisheye lens, a Nodal Ninja 3 or 5 pano head and Manfrotto tripod. With the 10.5mm lens, you can shoot a full frame fisheye photo every 60 degree, and then take the nadir and zenith shots. To stitch a full 360 degree panorama, you can use Easypano Panoweaver, which support automatic stitching of fisheye photos. Besides stitching, you can also export the panoramic photo to a swf, or html based Flash output, full screen QTVR. These types of output can easily be uploaded to your website to host.
