Nodal Frotto or Ninja Man :)

Ok, I have a 360P, but this:

Is also working nice, and its a bit more flexible.

I drilled a hole, just a bit smaller then the 3/8 mounting screw of the Manfrotto 300N, and forced the Nodal Ninja on it. Never removed it since....

The Nodal Ninja is not really a head which allows you to create "template-able" shoots, because there are no locks for the vertical moving arm.... (yet?)

The Manfrotto 300N is nice for setting horizontal click stops...

I have used this setup with the 350D and the EOS 5D, and it works good enough...

The whole thing is mounted on a Manfrotto 490 RC4 ballhead, which is nice for the Quick Release and easy leveling, but actually adds to the instability... With this ballhead, the head vibrates a bit more when coming to a rest after rotating. I use a bit of patience, and mirror lock up...

These pano's:

(and some more)

Were made with the EOS5D , Sigma 15MM and the Ninja Man Nodal Frotto

Panos with people, especially when something "is happening" are usually much more interesting then panos without people....

I think...
