For Andrey:

EOS 5D with Sigma 15mm 2.8 Panorama at full resolution.

Imagesize 10918 x 5459 pixels

Stitched with PTGui, lens as Circular FishEye Horizontal Field of View 169.681 degrees

(Setting the lens as Full Frame Fish Eye gives a larger resolution, but is more difficult to optimize)

100 ASA F8

Quicktime Tiles 3472 pixels

Conversion with Pano2QTVR, compression at 45% : 4171kb

Thank you, Bert.

Very impressive!

Was it easy to correct CA and suppress blooming?
Nikkor 10,5 is great lens, but sometimes CA is a pain and blooming hard to correct with d70 or D200.

It seems that the ultimate combo consits from 5D, Sigma 15mm and shaved nikkor :)

Andrey

PS what is the practical fov of Sigma fisheye comparing to Nikkor's 87 degrees?

Forgive, I don't know what blooming is

CA is easy to correct, I think...

This pano I shot today:

After optimzing PTGui gave this:

o w1 h1 y0 r0 p0 v170.741 a-0.148052 b0.15318 c-0.125072 f2 d-10.020669 e3.670025 g0 t0

I don't know the fov should be around the same... But you can use 5 around, if you want with the Sigma...
